There will be a spaghetti dinner benefit for the Ridgway high School cheerleaders March 24 from 12noon to 4pm at the North Broad Fire Hall in ridgway. $9 includes drink and desert too.  Proceeds will help send the cheerleaders to the national competition in Virginia Beach.

Sacred Heart Parish of Saint Marys will hold their 24th annual Spring Fling Saturday March 24th from 9am to 3pm at the Parish Center. There will be over 75 cable tables selling their wares along breads, rolls, candy, soupe, sandwiches and more for sale. A free shuttle will be offered from ECCHS to the Parish Center.

The NY PA Corporate Cup Soccer Showcase will take place Saturday May 19th at the Kessel Athletic Complex on the Pitt Bradford Games. Girls play at 1pm, boys play at 4pm. The U.S. Army hasa new program for college freshmen and sophomores interested in military service and want to complete their degree. The program is a summer camp where students spend five weeks training and learning about the military culture, and then complete the program through a host ROTC school during the academic school year. Upon graduation the students earn a commission as an Army Officer. Edinboro University and Allegheny College are two of the select schools that are eligible to offer this program.
